Owned and operated by Karen Slabbert and Shane Abbott, the team behind ‘The Flour Store’ in Port Noarlunga, Table on the Terrace is built on a foundation of more than 50 years of hospitality experience. With backgrounds in data analytics, business, and hospitality management, Karen and Shane bring a unique perspective to Café culture, ensuring a seamless blend of tradition and innovation.
In partnership with Lot Fourteen scale-up, MyVenue, we use cutting-edge technology to streamline ordering and enhance service efficiency. Whether dining in or ordering ahead, customers can enjoy a smooth, convenient experience powered by an award-winning point-of-sale system.

A Legacy Reimagined
The opening of Table on the Terrace coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Sheridan Kiosk, originally established in 1925 to provide refreshments to the public and convalescent patients at the former Royal Adelaide Hospital site. We are honored to continue this tradition, offering a modern take on hospitality while respecting the kiosk’s historical roots.
